I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to my blog and hope you find what you need on my website.
TLDR: I’m Entrepreneur AJ and this is my new website where I’m posting blog posts with matching YouTube video and podcast, allowing my content to be absorbed in as many ways as possible.
So who am I? My name is Entrepreneur AJ (yes, that’s my legal name), I am the Founder and Managing Director of EAJ Global providing business planning, startup and support services for companies of various sizes.
As long as I can remember, I have had an entrepreneurial spirit. From a very young age I was going around my local community with a bucket, sponge, and car shampoo scrubbing the neighbours cars clean to earn my way.
Now I never had to earn my way, I felt compelled to, which is a part of something I recently was diagnosed as having a form of Dissociative identity disorder (DID). Now, most people instantly go down the multiple personalities’ aspect of this, but from what I am aware this is not the case with me. With me, it’s on the basis of I struggle to see any value in my identity and thus create a new identity, which is why I legally changed my name from my birth name of Aiden Andrews-McDermott to Entrepreneur AJ. After all my own mother and siblings never called my by my birth name instead abbreviating my first and middle name Aiden James down to AJ. Apparently in my early school years, I genuinely didn’t know my name wasn’t AJ, which caused a few issues when I didn’t respond to my actual name in the register.
At the time of writing, companies house has 32 companies in my name, plus many times I tried to run a business before discovering the protections of a limited corporation spanning 20 years of my life. Each company trying a new tactic and learning from my mistakes.
Part of the Dissociative Identity Disorder enhances that drive to carve out a new name or persona, which is where this blog / video / podcast comes in, whichever medium you are choosing to absorb this content via. You never know, maybe I could become a world-famous public figure and a household name. Only time will tell.
